Definitely a hard test.BUT 2 points should be mentioned. 1)It has a generous curve which balances the difficulty 2)Unfortunately real life patients almost never have the absolutely typical presentation like uw qs on step 1. Each q and each percentage point matters in these tests. For reference, I took nbme 6 (258), 7 (245), 8 (264), uw1 (256) and uw2 (254) and got a 86% on free 120. Still haven’t gotten my results back yet but maybe consider re-reviewing some hy core topics.

I honestly think there’s this weird and unhealthy obsession with score prediction whether it be UWorld % or NBME. Unless you’re 1-2 weeks out, I don’t think it matters too much. I agree, but also know where people are coming from because it’s nerve wrecking and we all just want some way to gauge how we’ll do I guess.
